We were asked by one of our good customers to paint a lorry. Ok, so it was just a model but still a lorry right?!!

It was the 100th year anniversary truck and to celebrate they wanted us to replicate one of their Mercedes Actros lorries onto the model lorry.

We treated this in the same way we would a regular size vehicle, so we fully stripped it, prepped it ready to be primed and painted. The parts were so small we had to hang them on wire to enable us to paint them properly. So once in the spray booth they got painted in the same grey as the Maze Logistcs truck so it would look identical to the real one. We even had to paint the small parts like the washer bottle in matt black and wheels in gloss black. We hand brushed a few bits in silver too and fitted it all back up. It looked fantastic once it was done and it just needed the decals sticking on but that was being done by a different company.

I think Tommy enjoyed doing something a little different from the normal styling jobs we do, him and Frazer done a great job!
